Tribute to Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II -:The Personification of Duty

September 2021

To HRH King Charles and family;

It is with great sadness that we, the International Society for Krishna Consciousness write to you today, on the passing of HM Queen Elizabeth the 2nd.

Throughout the years we noted with immense gratitude how dedicated she was to the betterment of British society, the Commonwealth and humanity at large. A principle which we also, in our humble way, are trying to contribute towards. She endeavoured extensively to establish and support projects for the welfare of the people in general, and touched the lives of millions in the process.

We note also that she was a deeply thoughtful person, with a sincere interest in theology, philosophy and devotion to the greater good, which humanity is so much in need of in these difficult days. The world has indeed lost a woman of remarkable character, duty and insight.

We pray to the Supreme Lord to bestow His mercy upon her, as well as upon you and your family in your time of bereavement. If we can be of service in any way please let us know. Thinking of you all and of course we will never forget Her Majesty, your glorious mother.

Hare Krishna.

Yours in service,

Praghosa das
